What is the best place to stay in Oahu, Hawaii?

I’m going to Oahu this summer, probably in August, and am wondering what the best condos are. I dont want the condos to be somewhere where its too crowded but i dont want to be isolated either. I still want to be pretty close to the nightlife of Oahu.

Oh you made a great choice Oahu is my favorite island. =)
On Oahu there are basically two areas of condos their is Ko Olina which is pretty up scale it is on a lagoon and their are NO waves on the beach. The only thing out there is the Ko Olina property which is quite big but their isn’t anything else nearby
Then there is Waikiki which has more nightlife. It is on a beach that has 1-3 foot waves depending upon what part of the beach you go to. It has trolley systems that can take you to Oahu’s best mall alamoana. And it has lots of restaurants, shopping, and other entertainment.
